Where East Meets West in Mindful Movement
A one-of-a-kind fusion blending the grounding flow of Qigong, the core strength of mat Pilates, and the grace of Tai Chi Flow. You won't find this class anywhere else.
Our Story
Chi-Lates is a brand new fusion program — a one-of-a-kind class blending the best of Qigong, Tai Chi Flow, and Pilates, bringing ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine together with modern core-strengthening techniques.
Each class is designed to support your whole self — body, mind, and energy. You'll experience Pilates-inspired activation for deep core support and spinal enlivenment, Qigong principles for circulation and energy flow, and Tai Chi patterns that develop balance, coordination, and grounded power.
Chi-Lates strengthens gently without rigidity, tones and stabilizes while teaching the body how to move with fluidity and awareness. This class is open to all levels and is especially supportive for those who want to gently rebuild strength, seek stress and anxiety relief, and wish to enhance balance, spinal health, flexibility, and energy flow through mindful movement.
Each class concludes with a guided Tibetan sound bowl meditation for deep restoration and integration.
The Method
Chi-Lates weaves together three powerful movement traditions into a seamless, flowing practice that enhances physical fitness, supports joint health, improves posture, and deepens mind-body connection.
Deeply rooted in Chinese medicine, Qigong involves gentle movements and breathing practices designed for whole body health. By removing blockages and balancing the flow of energy within meridians, your body can do what it does best — heal itself naturally.
Tai Chi patterns develop balance, coordination, and grounded power. These slow, intentional walking flows bring a meditative quality that calms the nervous system and guides your internal Qi with beautiful movement.
Pilates-inspired activation provides deep core support and spinal enlivenment. This precision work strengthens the deep stabilizing muscles of the body, building a strong foundation from the center out.
